Badiri NGO started its charitable work few years ago, it combines several women living in Saida, to help poor people especially the Syrians after the war in 2011. After this situation that pushed Syrian families to immigrate into different Lebanese countries such as Saida, asking for security and safety, so we found that we should support them with main services and in-kind aid in the country as much as we can.
After the Syrian immigration to the country, it turned out to a huge disaster that helping them needs a huge number of volunteer’s in-order to visit and scan the tough situations in different places the immigrants are living in. So, a group of volunteers worked on full filling their urgent requests throughout individual donations that helped in continuing the journey of charitable work. This work was only a duty toward these people who are in-need for this support.
And for a wider work, women started a developmental charity NGO that works on social work and for organizing work and extending the support depending on the capabilities of every women. After that, some women decided on inserting vision, a letter, and aims. They agreed on naming the NGO based on their type of work, which is helping and collecting donations, so they named the NGO “Badiri NGO”. This name calls all women specialized in their way of thinking, physically, and psychologically.
Badiri NGO was established in 22 August or 20-7 2013 in Bqosta district, and it get to work after it was accredited officially from the government bylaw and statute of the NGO, subsequently Badiri NGO was accredited by the interior ministry coded (1469), and then the center of the Ngo moved to Bqosta district in 2019.
After 7 years of establishing Badiri NGO, the number of the ladies became 56 women in the general authority, in addition to the volunteers from girls and boys. Moreover Badiri NGO got enriched with a huge number of friends that help in financial and moral support.
