Environmental Committee

Environmental committee: it works on raising environmental awareness and warning the civil society on the importance of sorting from the source throughout awareness lectures. Also the Badiri NGO participates in some general environmental meetings and it do some field visits at Bqosta area. Among the most important achievements of the environmental committee is starting the project al west bank to encourage the civil society to sort. The awareness campaign started on sorting from the source under the name of “ our environment is our identity” in February 2017 and created a page on Facebook under the same name in march 2017.

Moreover, the al waste bank project started, which met a wide acceptance in the country to stimulate the citizens on sorting process and it was closed for the absence of the funder and the deteriorating economic situation in Lebanon approximately in September 2019.
